The monthly crime statistics for October 2020, for beats 12Y and 13X, are now available on http://rockridgencpc.com, under Resources > Crime Stats and Maps > Rockridge Crime Trends 2019-2020. Here’s a direct link to the page:

Most crime statistics in October were down. Property crimes in 12Y rose from 16 to 20, and in 13X from 4 to 12. Auto related property crimes in 13X were down slightly, from 9 to 7, while in 12Y auto related property crimes dropped from 20 to 9. Quality of life in both beats dropped by a couple of incidents, and crimes against the person dropped to 2 or 3 incidents in both beats. The unusual feature of this crime report was that beat 13X had no crimes reported from Oct. 18 through the end of the month, almost 2 weeks. This is so unusual that I asked our Community Resource Officer to run a separate check, and she confirmed that those were all we had. I hope this means that no crimes happened and not that crimes were not reported. Remember, if you know of a crime and don’t report it, it never happened.
In 12Y there was one incident which produced multiple charges in different categories. The 3 charges are listed in a separate display at the end of the 12Y list. They were not counted separately but are displayed separately for informational purposes.
