What Beat do I Live In?

To learn what police beat you're in, check the Police District Locator.  Enter your address and the map will show:

  • what policing area you're in,
  • what beat you're in,
  • the name and meeting address of the local NCPC,
  • dates and times of the meetings,
  • the name and email of the Neighborhood Services Coordinator (NSC)
  • an address where you can reach your beat's Community Resource Officer (CRO)

The August 2020 minutes of the Greater Rockridge Neighborhood Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) are now available online.  They are available on the NCPC web site, on the page at this link:

I don’t commonly recommend reading the minutes, as I assume you will if you’re interested; but this was one of the most interesting meetings I’ve attended in my 13 years as secretary.  We had an Assistant District Attorney and a retired Public Defender, both from Alameda County, who discussed how the criminal justice system operates and has operated in our county.  If you have any interest in the subject, I recommend you read the document, which is 8 pages.
