Auto-related crimes in beat 12Y, having dropped down from 33 to 23 in October, came back up to 34 in November. In beat 13X, the drop was from 10 to 4 in October and back up to 9 in November. In November, auto-related property crimes (burglary and theft) were the biggest class of crime we saw in our beats. Crimes against the person and general property crimes increased slightly (1 or 2 incidents) in both beats. Quality of life crimes, entirely vandalism, increased from 13 to 16 in 12Y and from 1 to 6 in 13X.
We had 3 cases of one crime with multiple charges. Two of them (in beat 12Y) were charged with some form of crimes against the person, and are not specifically identified; look in class a for sets of items with the same date, time, and address. In beat 13X, one crime on 11/22 was charged with domestic violence and also with vandalism. That crime is specifically identified.
