Statutes beginning with PC are from the Penal Code.

 

Statutes beginning with HS are from the Health and Safety Code and are usually the drug offenses of sale, possession, possession for sale, and under the influence.

 

Statutes beginning with VC are from the Vehicle Code and are primarily stolen autos. Other offenses from the Vehicle Code are drunk driving, getting towed for illegal parking or vehicle abandonment, or other offenses related to driving.
