Monthly Crime Stats - January 2021

Crimes against the person doubled in January in 12Y, from 5 to 10, including 6 robberies (5 armed) and 3 batteries.  Beat 13X had no crimes against the person.  Both types of property crimes in January were up slightly in beat 12Y and down by roughly 50% in beat 13X.  In both cases the change was 5 incidents or less.  Quality of life crimes in 12Y increased from 4 to 6, but in 13X they went from 2 in December to 10 in January, all vandalism.

We had one incident with multiple charges in beat 12Y, on the 13th at 9:45AM an incident was charged for both battery and theft.

Rockridge Crime Trends 2021-2022

November crime stats in both beats were about the same as in October.  Property crimes (auto) were up a little in 12Y, down a little in 13X.  Quality of life crimes (mostly vandalism) were up a little in 13X, flat in 12Y.  Other categories were either flat or down.  No crime category exceeded 15 instances in either beat, in the month of November.  There was one instance of multiple charges in different categories for a single crime, in beat 13X.
